Dispute Resolution Policy
How Mechji helps customers and sellers resolve disputes about orders, bookings and refunds.
Most problems are fastest to fix directly. Message the other party in chat and explain what went wrong.
If that does not work, create a request in Help & Support and link the order, booking or payment. Our team decides whether it needs a formal dispute, for example when an item was not delivered, was wrong or damaged, a refund was not paid, a service was not performed as described, or a commission or fee is contested.
In a dispute, both sides can add evidence — photos, documents, chat history, delivery or service records and payment references. Mechji can also consider records in the platform, such as order status history, delivery and service codes, and refund records.
If you disagree with a decision, reply in the same request and ask for escalation, explaining why. Escalations are reviewed by a senior member of the team. See the Support, Complaints & Grievance Policy.
We may update this policy from time to time. Each version has a version number and an effective date, and earlier versions stay available for reference.
When a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app or on the website before it takes effect and, where required, ask you to accept the new version before you continue using Mechji.
