Commission, Fees & Settlement Terms

Customers pay you directly for orders and bookings. Mechji therefore does not collect sales proceeds or make settlements or payouts to you. Instead, you pay Mechji commission on completed sales, and any subscription fee (see the Subscription Terms). This document covers both the commission and how you settle it with Mechji.

• The commission rate is a percentage set by your subscription plan and shown in the app. Some plans have a 0% rate.
• The rate that applies to an order or booking is the rate of your plan when the order or booking was created, even if your plan changes later.
• Mechji may exempt a seller from commission for products or services by agreement.
• Mechji may change plan rates for future orders and bookings with notice.

• Products: the price of the goods, excluding taxes and delivery charges.
• Services: the final verified bill.
• No commission is charged on orders that are cancelled, or bookings that are declined, cancelled or marked as a no-show.
• Commission remains payable on an order that is later returned or refunded, unless Mechji agrees to waive it.

• Commission becomes payable when a product order is delivered or a service is completed.
• It is due 7 days later. The app shows what you owe and what is overdue.
• Mechji may waive commission in whole or in part.

Pay from the Commission section of the Mechji Vendors app or website, through Razorpay. You can pay several amounts in one payment if they are in the same currency. See the Payment Terms.

Mechji may remind you, restrict features, pause or suspend your store, or recover the amount by other lawful means if commission remains unpaid.

Commission is stated inclusive of any tax Mechji must charge on it, where applicable. Mechji issues tax invoices for commission payments where required. Country-specific tax treatment is set out in your country addendum.

We may update these terms from time to time. Each version has a version number and an effective date, and earlier versions stay available for reference.

When a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app or on the website before it takes effect and, where required, ask you to accept the new version before you continue using Mechji.
